The Rehab Diaries: Part II

This may be old news by now, but Marc Jacobs in rehab? So sad... I guess I'll take it easy on those MC Hammer "Hareem" Pants. After 7 years of sobriety and being drug free, Marc relapsed and decided to check into an Arizona rehab facility. I think it's great that MJ is acknowledging his demons, and dealing with them head on... Unlike other designers and models which shall remain nameless.

"This was just a very interior sort of world where, you know, people's feet don't touch the floor, and you're sort of lonely at the end of the night and everyone goes home and you're still beautiful and you've spent all day taking care of yourself..." Marc Jacob's on his FW07 collection.

I think it takes a strong person to admit they need rehab- and good for him for doing it! Hopefully he'll be back better than ever!

drugs make good musicians, not good designers. I thought he was looking good these days too, didn't realize it was a drug habit that slimmed him down. Love your blog, I am dying to read Fashion Babylon as well but can't find it easily.

It's sad that THAT was the inspiration behind his collection.

When he took the curtail call for the Marc by Marc Jacob collection, I could hardly recognize him. He cleaned up so much and lost a lot of weight. I thought he was doing so well. Then the news of his enterig the rehab. So sad! Hope he's doing well.
